Looking at the process from an employer's point of view:
" I found that the whole process was made easy because I worked closely with our assessor Jon to ensure that we met on sites where we were undertaking tasks appropriate to the units we were taking at any given time.
Also because Jon's visits were well planned and organised it meant that all staff undertaking the diploma were working together on the same unit at the same time, this provided a feeling of team work and supporting each other to get through the various assessments.
It was imperative to our success that we were able to undertake this as a work based qualification, otherwise I feel that the enthusiasm we had may have waivered and the time taken would have doubled at least.
Last and by no means least, we all felt that Jon was an excellent assessor who supported us all the way through the process, was professional and happy to share his own knowledge and experience to assist us all.
As an employer who undertook the qualification at the same time, I shall look forward to developing my own personal skills further in the future."

“I would never have been able to complete my NVQ level 4 in Grounds Management in the conventional way-it just wasn’t practical in my job. The flexible way the assessment and training is carried out, and the 1-1 support and guidance received suits the real-life environment I work in”
James Buttar, Head Groundsman, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club

“I never thought I would get a certificate to show how good I am at my job. Because the assessors helped me with my file of work, my dyslexia didn’t hinder my progress at all. At last!”

“The assessor made the process very simple and kept in touch to let me know how the men were progressing. It was all very simple really”
Mark Felton, Landscape Supervisor, St Edmundsbury BC

“ I was amazed at how OnSite arrived as a team on the first day and got stuck in training and assessing my lads. They had a system and the motivation which meant that over just three months all my staff had achieved their NVQ”
Dave Newman, Blue Anchor Leisure, Chapel St Leonards.

“OnSite were adaptable from the word go and worked with me to ensure that our staff could demonstrate what they needed to in order to get their NVQ. The training enabled the lads to update techniques and improve in some areas.  We wouldn’t have been able to motivate them to qualify any other way, and our commitment to training has given us a competitive edge”
Karen Sim, Landscape Supervisor, ISS Facility Services Ltd.
